about

My name is Tony Hunt, I live in Frankfurt and work in architecture, art and building construction projects internationally. I am fluent in German and English is my native language.

Currently I work as a project leader in construction projects for the hotel industry. Since 2023 I offer a CAD service for Working Drawings, Shop Drawings and Production Parts Lists and 3D visualisations with a team of Architects and CAD specialists.

Our aim is, quite simply, to provide the most effective drawings on the construction site. That means, drawings which can be issued to design teams, or construction teams, to progress works without the constant need for halting the work to clarify dimensions or collisions. In short, drawings that will drive profit rather than delay and costs.

This would seem, to any outsider, to be a natural given prerequisite for all construction documents. But I am sure, that anyone with experience in the current industry is well aware of the difficulty of having coordinated drawings which one can actually build with. In our start-up stage we are producing drawings for a construction volume of six million Euros and are looking to grow with new clients “organically” at a solid and safe pace.

My training began as an architectural draughtsman in 1980, the days of pencil. This training was extended with full time study of Architecture in Brighton 1985 and was completed in London in 1991 at the renowned Bartlett School of Architecture. Parallel to these studies I was working on projects, both in the office and on site, for the British Government and British Architectural Practices. My first built design was for Queen Elizabeth II in 1990.

My skills are in design conception and communication of the required steps, both with the clients, with the design teams and with the workers who build the designs. I really enjoy the constant feedback from the workers and from the clients.

I am equally at home on the construction site as in the design environment and remain fully proficient in AutoCad. I have a quick grasp of the intricacies of different cultures. I prefer to oversee all the project work right from the inception, through the construction stage, to completion and handover. In this way the clarity of the concept can be clearly maintained and used to motivate everyone involved to create meaningful building works.
